Quality Standards

The Berlin Sperm Bank (Berliner Samenbank) operates according to the quality and safety standards of the Arbeitskreis Donogene Insemination (German Artificial Insemination by Donor Working Group - ADI) and in accordance with directive 2004/23/EC of the European Parliament. Following the implementation of the new EU directive 2004/23/EC (Tissue Directive) as a mandatory regulation in directive 2006/17/EC, the provisions applicable to sperm banks have been implemented accordingly. The Berlin Sperm Bank (Berliner Samenbank) is ISO 9001 certified.
